Butterrum is a very handsome Herdsire. He is a very nice shade of fawn, much like the color of butterscotch. That is how we came up with his name Butterrum.

Butterrum's conformation is spot on. He has a nice square frame on heavy bone structure. His bite is perfect, and he has a beautiful fiber filled face with full fleece coverage from head to toe. Butterrum' s fiber is dense yet very fine with nice crimp and good structure to it.

Butterrum's Dam is 5Peruvian Camelia a 98 Import from the Macusani region of Peru. She is a very elegant older gal who has produced 3 beautiful fawn cria for us. Mira, Butterrum, and now Zena, a very pretty 1/2 Accoyo.

Butterrum's Sire is The Scotsman. Scotty is a Color Champion and Multi blue ribbon winner who is known for producing very fine fleeced cria. He is owned by Ideuma Creek Alpacas.

With this being said, Butterrum definitely covers black and will be able to produce black cria. If you like fawn with a 50 percent chance of getting a black with fawn fiber characteristics you might want to consider breeding to Butterrum !

Butterrum is proudly co-owned with our good friend Jeanne Angel of Lone Spruce Alpacas.
